Clips click into place as do the keys and owners can buy replacement keys for various characters. Owners can also purchase laptop keyboards as complete units. Consult your Asus laptop manual for instructions on removing the keyboard. Some models require the removal of the back panel on the laptop to access keyboard attachment screws
